Job Summary
Check stock inventory physically and update into system to validate restocking is in order. Drive truck to and from warehouses, loading and unloading finished goods and packaging. Receive incoming raw materials, draw samples, and move bulk supplied materials from railcars to silo storage. Perform duties in accordance with plant safety policies and procedures, including handling, storage QOP, and Hazard Communication rules. Properly store and keep records of regrind and globs. Assist in Production Department when needed and perform other duties required by the QMS. Maintain CDL A license and current fork truck certification. Work in 100-degree environment lifting up to 50lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum high school education, or equivalent
- 2 to 5 years related experience
- CDL A driver's license, no restrictions
- Minimum of 1 year experience transporting, hooking up/ off a 53' box trailer
- Understanding of plant safety rules and regulations, particularly the Hazard Communication program
- Computer skills
- Current fork truck certification
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
- Ability to work in 100 degree environment (summer months)
