Job Summary
Deliver flooring products nationwide from Shaw Industries' Lenexa, KS location. Route operates on a 10-hour non-rotating shift (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) with off Wednesdays; average earnings evidenced by $29.87/hour and a home-daily schedule. Operate and back haul a fleet of equipment including automatic Volvo 860 and Freightliner Cascadia tractors; maintain professional conduct with customers during deliveries to distribution centers and customer sites. Must hold a Class A CDL and meet experience requirements (2 of 3 years recent driving, or 3 of 5 years, or 2 years heavy military vehicle driving). Demonstrate strong interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to maneuver heavy products using forklifts and pallet jacks as needed. Required Qualifications
- Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) required
- Minimum of 2 out of the last 3 years of current commercial roadway driving experience, or 3 out of the last 5 years of commercial roadway driving experience, or a minimum of 2 years of applicable heavy military vehicle driving experience
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to maneuver heavy products using forklifts and pallet jacks if needed
