Job Summary
Truck Driver to join Rexel USA’s Mayer team in Columbus, OH. Delivers products to/from customers and company locations using a delivery van/box truck (No CDL required). Responsibilities include inspecting the vehicle, maintaining cleanliness and service needs, complying with DOT/local/state laws, loading/unloading and verifying materials, preparing orders for delivery, completing delivery documentation, handling material returns, and assisting with other branch duties as needed. Senior Truck Driver will mentor entry-level drivers. Must be able to travel to offsite locations; overtime may be required. Emphasis on safety, accuracy of quantities, and dependable customer service. Training and mentorship provided for growth within the branch network.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 21 years of age
- Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record
- Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire
- Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years
- Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years
- No CDL required
- Ability to operate a delivery van or box truck
- Ability to adhere to DOT/local/state driving laws and regulations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills
