Job Summary
The Truck Driver is responsible for transporting equipment and materials throughout and between job sites. Key responsibilities include operating the company vehicle safely and in compliance with DOT standards, inspecting and maintaining vehicle supplies and equipment, adhering to traffic laws, loading and unloading trucks, completing truck logs, and effectively communicating equipment and material issues. Candidates must hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License, be at least 21 years old, and have a high school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in transportation, especially in the energy services sector, is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Previous experience with transporting equipment and materials
- Ability to meet all DOT requirements
- Must pass a drug screening and background check
- Must be flexible to meet scheduling requirements
- Must be able to travel and cross state lines
- Must have the ability to effectively operate a variety of vehicles safely and work reliably both independently and in a team setting
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in the energy services industry
- Basic knowledge of MS Office
