Job Summary
Drive a straight truck for local home deliveries of doors, windows, and cable equipment in Medford, OR. Load and unload freight as required by the customer while maintaining accurate records. Ensure compliance with federal and state safety regulations and detect hazards on the route. Operate a well-maintained vehicle with a lift gate and electric pallet jack. Work Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM, starting with 40-45 hours per week. No weekends required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Must have verifiable driving experience
- 6 Months experience in the past 3 years
- 2 years' experience within the last 5 years
- 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
