Job Summary
Drive gasoline or diesel-powered tractor-trailer combinations to transport and deliver corrugated products to multiple locations. Apply knowledge of area roads and commercial driving regulations to maneuver vehicles in difficult situations, while maintaining radio contact with dispatchers for delivery instructions. Inspect truck equipment and supplies before and after trips, submit reports on vehicle condition, and secure trucks during unloading. Assist workers in loading and unloading, ensuring food safety, quality, HACCP, and GMP standards are followed. Maintain driver logs according to state and federal regulations. Requires a DOT Approved Class A License and High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- DOT Approved Class A License
- Industrial Truck Operator Certificate
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to operate a forklift
- Must be able to climb to a height of 5 feet
