Job Summary
Oversee all CDL-A and CDL-B drivers during the overnight shift, ensuring safe and compliant delivery operations while maintaining DOT compliance. Responsibilities include supervising drivers, monitoring route performance, conducting pre-shift communications, addressing performance issues, and serving as the backup driver when necessary. Ensure fleet readiness by overseeing vehicle conditions, coordinating maintenance, and managing DOT compliance for documentation and safety standards. Strong leadership and knowledge of regulations are essential, alongside communication and problem-solving skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL-A or CDL-B with Hazmat endorsement
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lead and hold drivers accountable
- Ability to work the overnight shift consistently
- Ability to step into driving duties on short notice
