Job Summary
Drive truck and trailer to haul logs from logging sites to designated company locations throughout Mendocino and Humboldt Counties. Adhere to all safety regulations, load securement standards, and company operating procedures to ensure timely deliveries. Cut or remove bark from loads using hand tools, inspect equipment for defects, and perform basic preventative maintenance including brake adjustments. Maintain required records for compliance, ensure proper shipping documentation accompanies shipments, and report accidents or delays immediately. Position travels up to 95% of the time within the state, with shifts lasting up to 12 hours. Requires Class "A" Driver's License, current DOT physical, and clean DMV record. Log hauling experience is highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Class A Driver's License

- Ability to read and understand safety rules, work instructions, procedures, and basic written communications
- Ability to utilize an on-board computer
- sufficient visual acuity, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
