Job Summary
Load and deliver lime slurry to customers while completing pre/post inspections to ensure DOT regulations are met. Operate and maintain equipment by reading gauges, analyzing work conditions, and performing minor repairs as needed. Educate local contractors on safe handling procedures and emergency medical protocols for accidental exposure. Deliver shipments safely and timely, maintaining concentration during extended periods in heavy traffic or remote locations. Tolerate outside weather, noise, and lime dust while navigating heights and confined spaces. Occasional shift work, weekends, and holidays apply.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations
- Fleet equipment knowledge
- Excellent fleet mechanical skills
- Ability to maneuver fleet equipment in heavy city traffic and remote job locations
- Ability to resolve issues with limited supervision
- Verifiable CDL driving experience
- Recent completion of CDL truck driving school
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Two years of verifiable CDL driving experience
