Truck Driver

Truck Driver responsible for operating in an outside production environment with 10+ hour days and potential weekend work. Most weeks involve 55-60+ hours and duties are conducted outdoors. Leads and directs a group of employees, motivates for productivity, and ensures machine-specific safety training prior to operation. Reviews pre-shift machine inspections, addresses machine concerns, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and monitors inbound/outbound material quality while applying CI principles to improve processes. Identifies, researches, and resolves problems and opportunities; evaluates performance of individuals and programs; coaches employees to improve safety, productivity, and efficiency; disciplines when necessary and conducts annual performance reviews. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable law, communicates with management, leads safety initiatives, and prepares production reports. May drive a forklift to move material to/from the production area; performs other duties as required.
