Truck Driver I - High Side

Job Summary
Operate a company truck (Van Trailer/Highside/Switch Truck/Box Truck/Bulk Tanker/Tow Truck) and switch trailers at customer locations; perform daily DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections; prepare shipping documents, weigh loads, and maintain scale tickets and trip reports; ensure load security (tarps, straps) and maintain the interior of the vehicle; complete reports (accident, damage, traffic violations) and submit to dispatch; provide exemplary customer service and service at customer locations; maintain logs and perform data entry for vendor codes and trip reports; comply with company values and safety procedures; physically lift up to 75 lbs., work outdoors, and be detail-oriented.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- CDL Class A license required with no manual transmission restriction (E restriction)
- Must have a clear driving record
- Proven customer service skills
- Lift up to 75 lbs. while chaining
- Legible handwriting and strong mathematical skills
- Ability to work independently and be detailed oriented
- Ability to maintain logbooks
- Must be willing to work in an outdoor environment
