Job Summary
Truck Driver I - High Side drives company trucks (van trailer/highside/switch/box/bulk-tanker/tow) and switches trailers at customer locations; responsibilities include servicing customer locations, providing customer service as a service representative, preparing shipping documents, weighing loads, maintaining scale tickets and trip reports, submitting reports, DOT pre/post-trip inspections, random drug testing, inspecting loads and tarps, maintaining the inside of the truck, vendor code data entry, and daily vehicle inspection reports. Requires CDL Class A with no manual transmission restriction, high school diploma, clean driving record, strong customer service, ability to lift 75 lbs, legible handwriting and math skills, independent work style, ability to maintain logbooks, and willingness to work outdoors. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00am–6:00pm, Roseville, MI (onsite). Benefits include health insurance, tuition reimbursement, 401K match, and bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- CDL Class A license with no manual transmission restriction (E restriction)
- Must have a clear driving record
- Proven customer service skills
- Lift up to 75 lbs. while chaining
- Legible handwriting and strong mathematical skills
- Ability to work independently and be detailed oriented
- Ability to maintain logbooks
- Must be willing to work in an outdoor environment
