Job Summary
Operate a 26-foot truck to deliver, install, and pick up furniture from warehouses, vendors, and customers while protecting merchandise with pads and tools. Comply with DOT laws, complete pre/post trip inspections, and read all associated paperwork. Relay customer messages to management, wipe down furniture at stops, and maintain an organized tool kit. Assist with warehouse tasks including lifting cartons and directing helpers during floorplan executions. Record start and end times for productivity. Maintain a clean driving record and pass the DOT physical. Work flexible shifts without a set end time.
Required Qualifications
- PLEASE APPLY ONLY IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE DRIVING A STRAIGHT 26 FEET TRUCK
- Must meet Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) qualifications requirements -English Language Proficiency Under 49 CFR 391.11
- DOT Card need it or able to obtain the card prior to hiring
- Clean background and driving records
- Able to pass DOT Physical test
- Able to pass pre-employment Drug Testing (12 panels)
- Full time job
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English
- Valid driver's license
- Must meet insurance underwriting requirements
