Job Summary
Safely transport materials to and from designated locations, pick up full containers, and perform live loading and roll-off container swaps while securing loads in compliance with DOT regulations. Coordinate daily schedules with Dispatch, weigh loads at the yard as required, and accurately report trip numbers and maintain documentation. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including evenings or weekends, using required PPE and lifting light weights as needed. This role offers a competitive hourly rate between $25 and $27, with PTO starting day one, 401(k) matching, and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum of 1 year Class A driving experience
- Working knowledge of State and Federal motor carrier regulations
- Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks and trailers
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to safety procedures
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least one year of Class A driving experience
- Roll-off driving experience required
- Primarily outdoor work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Flexible schedule may include evenings or weekends
- Ability to lift and carry light weights as needed
