Truck Driver – Delivery Specialist for Industrial Chemicals

Job Summary
Deliver industrial water treatment chemicals to customers across Iowa and neighboring states on a regular route using a 26-foot Peterbilt box truck. Responsibilities include delivering drums and pails, transferring liquid blends via the ChemFeed system, picking up deliveries from the Des Moines warehouse and returning empties for recycling, with occasional overnights. Requires operating a company-owned vehicle safely and professionally; benefits include a competitive experience-based compensation package and standard corporate health coverage. Candidate should have a Class B CDL, HazMat and Tanker endorsements, a clean driving record, and familiarity with chemical handling; a chemistry education (Associates or BS) is helpful. Required Qualifications
- A current Class B CDL
- HazMat endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- A spotless driving record
- Experience handling, transferring, and delivering chemicals
- Knowledge of industrial water treatment chemistry is a plus
- Chemistry education (Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science) is helpful
- Live in or very near Des Moines, Iowa
- Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test for DOT and Background Investigation
- Provide State Driving Record from DMV (30 days old)
- Provide copy of current CDL with an H endorsement (preferred)
- Provide copy of current CDL with a T endorsement (preferred)
- Provide a copy of a current Medical Certificate verified by a physician (preferred)
