Job Summary
Conduct multi-stop local deliveries of parts and supplies at various dedicated accounts. Unload trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages while scanning products upon delivery. Operate late model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with in-cab cameras to ensure safety. Work flexible local shifts as needed, maintaining regular, predictable attendance. Adhere to all federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules. Complete required background investigation, drug screening, and employment application.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required
- 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others
- Must be able to see and hear
- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
- Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle
- Must be able to safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- Must work the required schedule
- Must work at the specific location required
- Must complete Penske employment application
- Must submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history)
- Must submit to a drug screening
