Job Summary
Safely transport and deliver hazardous materials to customer locations using a semi-tractor and trailer while maintaining compliance with DOT, company, and all applicable regulatory requirements. Operate the vehicle to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries, load and unload product by connecting and disconnecting trailers and hoses, and provide professional customer service during transfer activities. Complete required delivery documentation, daily load/unload reports, electronic logs, and onboard computer entries accurately. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report equipment issues promptly, and execute site readiness checks. This role requires a Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsements, minimum one year of verifiable driving experience, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required for the equipment/route)
- Valid Hazmat endorsement required, or willingness to obtain within the required timeframe
- Have a minimum of 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience
- Must meet age requirement
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance, and complete required documentation accurately
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely climb in and out of truck cabs and trailers
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions; travel and time away from home as required by the schedule
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and in environments with regular exposure to hazardous materials
- Must pass screening, which may include some or all of the following: drug testing, criminal background checks, motor vehicle record checks, physical requirements, and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks
