Job Summary
Transport cargo to and from specified destinations while driving a truck with capacity up to three tons and usually six wheels. Load, secure, verify, and unload cargo; prepare delivery schedules; and deliver materials to locations designated by the customer. Obtain customer signatures for proof of delivery and assist with unloading. Perform duties of a Warehouse Associate when not driving. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a satisfactory driving record and valid CDL Classification/Certification.
Required Qualifications
- Monday through Friday; 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
- Must have a 'satisfactory' driving record
- Must have CDL Classification/Certification
- Requires applicable truck driver license for state
- High school degree or equivalent
- Must have a valid CDL License
- 2 years required of truck driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
- Vision - near, far, night
- Ability to detect or tell differences between sounds varying in pitch and loudness
- Ability to quickly respond (with hand, finger, foot) to signals (sound, light, picture) when it appears
