Truck Driver - CDL (Class A)

Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailer in team operations within the FedEx Linehaul network, executing long-haul over-the-road routes with 100% drop-hook no-touch freight. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain logs and required documentation, communicate with dispatch regarding routes and delays, and comply with DOT regulations and company policies. Benefits include detention pay, health insurance, PTO, and a $2,000 bonus for existing FedEx drivers. Home time is every 2–3 weeks; equipment includes newer 2022 tractors with automated transmissions. Routes may include Dallas, Chicago, Utah, Sacramento; terminal location: Northampton, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience
- Pass background check
- Pass drug/alcohol screening and DOT physical
- Meet all FedEx Linehaul and company safety requirements
