Truck Driver - CDL (Class A)

Job Summary
Operate Class A tractor-trailer in team operations within the FedEx Linehaul network, performing long-haul and over-the-road routes with 5,000–7,250 miles per week. 100% drop-hook, no-touch freight. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate logs and required documentation, and communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, or issues. Comply with DOT regulations and company safety requirements. Eligible benefits include health insurance, PTO, and detention pay; special $2,000 bonus for existing FedEx drivers. Routes may include Dallas, Chicago, Utah, Sacramento; home time is every 2–3 weeks. Equipment includes newer tractors and sleepers.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable driving experience
- Pass background check
- Pass drug/alcohol screening and DOT physical
- Meet all FedEx Linehaul and company safety requirements
