Job Summary
Drive tractor trailers to deliver and pick up customer freight between company terminals and facilities within a defined geographic area. Sort, handle, load, and unload freight at various locations while following planned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries. Adhere to established pre-trip, post-trip, freight handling, and billing procedures, conducting inspections per safety and quality control standards. Retain records, forms, and load-related paperwork, serving as the first point of contact for delivery-related issues. Maintain a claims-free, cost-efficient delivery record. Requires a Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and twin trailer endorsements, 1+ years of driving experience, and must be 21+ with a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- Class A commercial driver's license with Hazmat, Tanker and twin trailer endorsements
- 21 years of age or older
- Authorized to work in the United States
- 1+ years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience
- No DUI, DWI or license suspension for moving violations within the last 3 years
- No chargeable accidents or serious traffic violations within the past 6 months
- Must be able to read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language in order to perform the various tasks of the job
