Job Summary
Drive tractor trailers over long distances to deliver and pickup freight between company terminals, customer facilities, or meeting points while operating single, double, or triple trailers regionally and cross-regionally. Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, freight handling, and billing inspections following established safety and quality control procedures, and hook, unhook, and assess equipment in compliance with Department of Transportation guidelines. Retain and maintain records, logs, forms, and load-related paperwork. Maintain a claims-free, cost-efficient manner with no DUI, DWI, or license suspension in the past three years. Requires Class A CDL with hazmat, tanker, and twin trailer endorsements, 1+ years of verifiable driving experience, and willingness to work long hauls and overnight hours.
Required Qualifications
- Class A commercial driver's license with hazmat, tanker and twin trailer endorsements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Authorized to work in the United States
- 1+ years of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience
- No DUI, DWI, or license suspension for moving violations within the past 3 years
- No chargeable accidents or serious traffic violations within the last 6 months
- Must be able to read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language in order to perform the various tasks of the job
- Willingness to work long hauls and overnight hours
- Prior experience hooking and unhooking trailers, handling dollies, and making and breaking trailer sets
