Job Summary
Operate a dedicated tractor safely at all times, complying with DOT driver logs and performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Label, sign, and handle shipments per regulations while verifying loads and deliveries are secured. Utilize operational knowledge of pallet jacks, hand trucks, and lift-gates to assist in pick-up and delivery operations, lifting up to 100 lbs. Effectively read maps or use GPS units to navigate the Geneva, IL route Monday through Friday, starting at 6am. Earn $34.00/hour with paid overtime after 40 hours and a safety bonus. Required Qualifications
- Driver must be at least 23 years of age
- Must have 2 year of experience driving a commercial vehicle
- No more than 1 at-fault (preventable) accident in the last year
- Valid CDL with brakes endorsement
- Ability to lift a minimum of 100lbs. safely
- Ability to effectively read maps or utilize a GPS unit
- Communicate in a clear, concise, and professional manner
- Must be available for Monday through Friday
- Must be available for day shift
- Must be available for home every night
- Must be available for home every weekend
Desired Qualifications
- Clean MVR is a plus
