Job Summary
CVS Health is seeking a professional Truck Driver (CDL Class A) to operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck to deliver merchandise to stores. Responsibilities include timely deliveries, picking up and returning merchandise and empty totes to the distribution center. Schedule includes day, evening, and overnight shifts (24/5); comfortable with inner-city driving in Washington, DC, Baltimore, MD, and Richmond, VA; home daily with a consistent 5-day work week; competitive pay with starting rate around $18.50/hour and a comprehensive benefits package. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of verifiable driving experience, with emphasis on safety and compliance with FMCSR 391.11 and CVS Health’s Loss Prevention standards.
Required Qualifications
- Meet all Department of Transportation requirements (FMCSR 391.11)
- Minimum of 3 years verifiable driving experience
- No preventable accidents in last 4 years
- Two or fewer motor vehicle violations in last 3 years
- No DUI within last 5 years
- No juvenile or serious driving offenses within last 5 years
- No criminal offenses involving a commercial vehicle
