Job Summary
Lead daily shred operations by driving a 26-foot automatic truck on assigned routes averaging 30 stops to manage secure delivery and servicing of customer shred bins. Support route efficiency and documentation by utilizing a handheld Zebra scanner to track bin service and manage daily activity. Ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation regulations and company safety/security procedures while providing outstanding customer service. Requires a valid Class B CDL, at least one year of route driving experience in a busy city, and the ability to perform substantial physical labor including moving bins weighing 65–250 lbs over 7 miles per day. Shifts run Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to the end of the shift in Oxnard, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Class A is welcome, but pay is set at Class B rates
- At least 1 year of route driving experience in a busy city environment
- Proven ability to perform substantial physical labor, including pushing, pulling, squatting, and walking up to 7 miles per day while moving bins weighing between 65–250 lbs
- Must be at least 21 years of age to meet commercial driving and company requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs
- Must be able to lift 150 lbs
- Must be able to lift 200 lbs
- Must be able to lift 250 lbs
- Must be available for Monday–Friday shifts
- Must be available for 6:00 a.m. start times
- Must be able to work until the end of the shift
- Must be able to utilize a handheld Zebra scanner
- Must be able to manage daily route activity
- Must be able to track bin service
- Must be able to provide secure and essential route-based services
- Must be able to ensure compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
- Must be able to ensure compliance with company safety/security procedures
