Job Summary
Deliver full trailer loads of 20+ pallets to Stratas Foods customers throughout the Northeast within a 250-mile radius, with a home-nightly schedule. Monday–Friday work week with occasional weekends. Maintain appropriate shipment paperwork, vehicle and equipment records, and communicate inquiries to the appropriate source. Requires knowledge of Northeast/Tri-State region, safe driving practices, and ability to operate tractor-trailer vehicles (manual or automatic). Must have High School Diploma or GED, a valid CDL Class A license (NJ), and 3–5 years of tractor-trailer experience; able to pass a road test; compliant with DOT Physical; clean MVR; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; possess strong knowledge of safety procedures and industry regulations. Familiarity with the food service distribution industry is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent is required
- Must possess a valid CDL Class A New Jersey drivers license
- 3 – 5 years’ experience operating a tractor trailer
- Knowledge of the Northeast Region / Tri-State area
- Clean driving record - Must have an updated MVR
- Updated DOT Physical card
- Able to pass a road test
- Knowledge of state laws pertaining to the operation of equipment on highways
- Ability to drive manual or automatic transmissions
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Satisfactory driving and safety record
