Job Summary
Ensure compliance with federal and state laws while detecting and minimizing safety hazards. Load or unload freight as required by the customer and maintain accurate records and logs. Deliver solo to Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Oklahoma in a manual 48' to 53' dry van with lift gate. Requires Hazmat endorsement and 12 months of CDL A experience. Schedule runs Tuesday through Saturday with 1-2 layovers per week, starting dispatch at 8:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- Hazmat endorsement
- 6 Months Hazmat Experience
- 12 Months of CDL A experience driving
- Route delivery experience
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
- Must be able to drive a manual
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years
- 2 years' experience within the last 5 years
- 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
