Job Summary
Drive solo tractor trailers in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Oklahoma delivering automotive parts freight. Operate 48'–53' dry vans with lift gates, perform loading/unloading when required, and maintain accurate logs. Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, detect safety hazards, and follow all federal and state laws. Complete a road test and provide verifiable Class A CDL experience with Hazmat endorsement. Work Thursday through Sunday starting at 8:00 PM with possible layovers. Weekly pay ranges from $600 to $1,000.
Required Qualifications
- Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years
- 2 years' experience within the last 5 years
- 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
- Must have 12 Months of CDL A experience driving
- Must have 9-12 Months Hazmat Experience
- Must be able to drive a manual
- Route delivery experience required
- Endorsements: Hazmat - At Time of Interview
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Pass a Ryder Drug Test
- Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
- Pass a DOT physical
- Pass a Ryder road test
- Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
