Job Summary
Operate Class A tanker trucks and semi-trailers, including dry vans, intermodal, and flat beds, while planning trips for breaks, fuel stops, and customer appointments. Safely load and unload products according to company and customer instructions, managing unforeseen circumstances and fluctuating weekly mileage. Follow all government, company, and customer policies, including FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOL regulations. Obtain Haz Mat endorsement within 60 days of hire. Schedule includes weekends, nights, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 1 year of verifiable driving experience
- 1 year of verifiable OTR or Local experience within the previous 7 years
- Tanker Endorsement
- Haz Mat endorsement
- Must be able to obtain Hazardous Materials endorsement within 90 days
- Class A CDL with Tank Endorsement
- No more than 1 chargeable accident within the last 3 years
- No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 moving violation in the last three years
- Must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screen
- Must successfully complete a DOT physical
- Must successfully complete a background check
- Must successfully complete functionality testing
