Job Summary
Safely drive commercial truck on designated route to deliver products to customers; assist to unload products at each delivery location; maintain DOT logs and complete necessary paperwork; perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations; verify correct products and obtain delivery confirmation; coordinate with dispatcher on route details and delivery issues; capable of working up to 60 hours/week, including nights and weekends, with potential overnight travel; comfortable with loading/unloading, basic computer skills, GPS usage, and safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (required)
- Six Months or at least 50,000 miles of all seasons commercial driving experience (required)
- Must pass DOT physical examination and DOT pre-employment drug test
- Must be able to work up to 60 hours per week including nights and weekends
- Good communication skills; ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Knowledge of federal regulations and DOT guidelines
- Ability to travel with overnight stays (occasional)
