Job Summary
Ensure compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules while detecting and eliminating safety hazards. Maintain accurate records and logs, then load or unload freight as required by the customer. Perform other duties as assigned. Deliver solo to destinations within 500–600 miles using a dry van 53' on a local home daily route. Strong backing skills are required. Operate well-maintained, safe trucks with 24/7 roadside maintenance support. Schedule options include Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday; start time must accommodate AM or PM bids. Weekly pay begins at $1,385 with solo miles, stops, drop/hook, and sign-on bonuses. Medical, dental, and vision coverage begin after 30 days, with 80 hours of PTO available from day one.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL
- Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
- 9 months experience within the past 3 years
- 2 years' experience within the last 5 years
- 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
- Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
- Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
- Must be open to AM or PM due to bid system
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
