Job Summary
Drive shuttle routes for NFI's dedicated Colgate fleet, shuttling products on dry van trailers to warehouses across Ohio with dependable, primarily drop-and-hook schedules. Operate late-model equipment with advanced safety features, reporting any equipment issues, accidents, or violations before, during, and after routes. Perform pickups and deliveries based on customer requirements while adhering to all federal, state, and customer regulations. Maintain physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and 100 lbs occasionally. Earn hourly pay of $22 to $26 with health, dental, vision, and Rx benefits starting day one.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
- Minimum one year of relevant tractor-trailer experience
- Acceptable verification of work history from past employers
- Meet all applicable DOT qualifications
- Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting
- The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
- The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg
- The associate must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle
- Ability to safely and frequently enter/exit the rear cargo area
- Ability to perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements
