Job Summary
Drive dedicated dry van routes with a local and regional mix, performing pickups and deliveries based on customer requirements. Operate late-model fleet equipment using no-touch store deliveries, live unloads, backhauls, and drop & hook services for DCs. Report all equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after each route. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and customer regulations while physically handling loads up to 100 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid Class A CDL from your state of residence
- Minimum six (6) months of recent tractor-trailer experience
- Acceptable references from past employers
- Must meet all applicable DOT qualifications
- Physically capable of performing all job duties, which include moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle
- Ability to safely and frequently enter/exit the rear cargo area
- Ability to perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements
