Job Summary
Drive dedicated dry van freight on regional or local routes with scheduled home time, performing pickups and deliveries based on customer requirements. Operate a late-model fleet with advanced technology, maintaining an estimated 60% of trucks and trailers through our shops. Report all equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after your route. Meet minimum requirements including a Class A CDL, one year of tractor-trailer experience, and DOT qualifications. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
- Minimum one year of relevant tractor-trailer experience
- Acceptable references from past employers
- Meet all applicable DOT qualifications
- Physically capable of performing all job duties, which include moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting
- The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms
- The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg
- The associate must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg
- Ability to report all problems with equipment, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after the route
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle
- Ability to safely and frequently enter/exit the rear cargo area
- Ability to perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements
