Job Summary
Drive port containers Monday through Friday in the VA, MD, and NC operating area, performing pickups and deliveries based on customer requirements. Operate Class A tractor-trailers with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements while maintaining no-touch equipment protocols. Report all equipment problems, accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after routes. Adhere to federal and state laws, regulations, and customer guidelines while safely entering and exiting the vehicle and rear cargo area. Maintain a clean record and provide acceptable references to meet NFI's driver qualification standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant tractor-trailer experience
- Acceptable references from past employers
- Meet all applicable DOT qualifications
- Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of ports preferred
