Job Summary
Truck Driver with CDL-A needed to safely operate commercial vehicles (tractor-trailers, box trucks) in all weather, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, supervise or assist with loading/unloading, plan routes for on-time deliveries, and maintain accurate logs and paperwork. Responsibilities include route planning, safety compliance with federal/state regulations (including hazardous materials where applicable), effective customer communication, and occasional overnight travel. Qualifications require 3–5 years of CDL experience, experience with flat bed or low bed equipment, a valid CDL with clean MVR, DOT medical clearance, and strong attention to safety, time management, and maintenance. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of CDL truck driving experience
- Experience with Flat Bed or Low Boy
- Valid CDL license, clean MVR and pass a DOT physical
- Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance and identify issues
- Proficiency with GPS and reading maps for route planning
- Strong safety and compliance orientation
- Ability to manage time and meet delivery deadlines
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overnight travel as needed
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Ability to operate safely in all weather conditions
- Good communication with customers and internal teams
- Ability to complete delivery documentation and logs
- Travel to out-of-town assignments as business conditions require
- Team-oriented with shop support responsibilities when not driving
