Job Summary
Deliver Cambria's products to fabricators on time and with accuracy while loading, unloading trailers, and performing warehouse duties. Retain knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, complete daily bills of lading, and maintain safe operation and clean appearance of the truck. Verify product during loading/unloading, report maintenance malfunctions immediately, and safely operate forklifts and cranes as needed. Adhere to all safety requirements and work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight trips. Lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs while wearing provided PPE. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, performing daily stretch and flex exercises.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of commercial driving experience with a straight truck
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements
- Pass pre-employment substance abuse test as a safety sensitive employee
- Ability to operate a straight truck with a high degree of attention, skill, and dexterity to prevent damage to material and equipment
- Familiarity with region and routes
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight trips
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Push/pull up to 300 lbs
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
- Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
- Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
- Bend over multiple times throughout shift
