Job Summary
Drive a large commercial vehicle to deliver inventory and equipment, pulling towed weights exceeding 10,000 lbs while ensuring the trailer hitch is securely attached. Transport goods from origin to destination, pick up loads, and organize items logically before safely unloading at selected sites. Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, operate electric lifts and pallet jacks, and maintain detailed driving and delivery logs to track mileage and working hours. Adhere strictly to company, ICC, and DOT regulations, traffic laws, and all safety standards regarding size, weight, and break periods. Notify the manager of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Class A CDL license
- Clean driving record
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug test
- Must be willing and able to travel out of town with occasional overnight stays
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Residing in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience operating commercial vehicles
