Job Summary
Drive large commercial vehicles to deliver inventory and equipment, pulling towed weights exceeding 10,000 lbs while ensuring trailer hitches are securely attached. Operate and maintain assigned vehicles, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and handle or unload goods using electric lifts and pallet jacks. Receive cargo, park at appropriate docks, and track mileage while documenting schedules, delivery confirmations, and manifests. Adhere to company, ICC, and DOT regulations, obey traffic laws, and notify managers of major issues. Maintain detailed driving logs and report working hours. This part-time/on-call role requires a valid Class A CDL, clean driving record, and willingness to travel out of town with occasional overnight stays.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug test
- Must be willing and able to travel out of town with occasional overnight stays to assigned projects
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Residing in the United States
