Job Summary
Truck Driver/Applicator in Beltrami, MN. Responsibilities include operating a floater and driving a Class A CDL vehicle (hazmat endorsement encouraged), applying fertilizer and crop protection products, delivering to customers, educating customers on products and techniques, assisting sales staff, and completing warehousing tasks such as loading, maintenance, and inspections. Requires ability to read/write English, comply with hours of service, and maintain equipment. Training provided in crop protection product mixing and operation of application equipment. Minimum qualifications include 1+ year in agriculture-related roles, high school diploma or GED preferred, and CDL/DOT qualifications preferred; physical ability to lift 75 lbs and work in varying conditions. Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in Agriculture Production, Operations, and/or Agriculture Application
- Must meet minimum age requirement
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals
- Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card
- Ability to work additional hours, be available for overnight stays and occasional weekends
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred
- Agriculture background and customer experience preferred
- Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to lift 75 lbs
