Job Summary
Operate roll-off trucks safely on demolition and abatement projects, ensuring all vehicles comply with company, state, and federal safety regulations. Perform complete pre and post trip inspections to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, and safety equipment, reporting any issues immediately. Diagnose and repair diesel maintenance issues on the truck in all weather conditions, maintaining assigned tools and assigning PO numbers for all repairs. Complete daily vehicle condition reports, enter GPS data, and submit route sheets detailing job sites serviced. Maintain courteous communication with demolition superintendents to coordinate hauling needs, flagging safety hazards such as overhead wires or site conditions that require ground guides. Work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by legal limits and project demands.
Required Qualifications
- Must maintain a valid Class A or Class B CDL and current DOT Medical Card
- Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check, criminal history, and motor vehicle record review
- Must be able to function within a teamwork-oriented environment to safely complete our work efficiently
