Job Summary
Load, transport, and unload products in designated locations while communicating with Production and Warehouse teams to anticipate supply needs. Gather materials for upcoming schedules, distribute products using a forklift with proper inventory rotation, and organize warehouse inventory for efficient shipping. Transport supplies between the plant, packaging warehouse, and shipping warehouse using a tractor-trailer, and pick up or deliver materials from vendors as required. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all plant safety rules, policies, and Good Manufacturing Practices. Work overtime and weekends as needed. Valid CDL and HAZMAT endorsement required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Basic math skills, including multiplication and division
- Ability to use simple tools and measuring instruments
- Valid CDL
- HAZMAT endorsement/certification
- Work overtime and weekends as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Six months to one year of manufacturing experience
- Safe operation of forklifts, tractor-trailers, and other material-handling equipment
- Knowledge of inventory rotation and warehouse organization practices
- Strong time-management and prioritization skills
- High attention to detail when handling products and materials
- Ability to identify and resolve routine operational issues
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and GMP compliance
