Job Summary
Operate Class A tanker trucks, semi trucks, tank trailers, dry vans, pneumatic, intermodal, and flat beds while planning trips for breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, and weather conditions. Safely and efficiently load and unload product according to company and customer instructions, managing unforeseen circumstances and fluctuating weekly mileages. Follow all government, company, and customer policies including FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOL regulations. Work weekends, nights, and holidays to make timely deliveries. Obtain Haz Mat endorsement within 60 days.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 1 year of verifiable driving experience
- 1 year of verifiable OTR or Local experience within the previous 7 years
- Tanker Endorsement
- Haz Mat endorsement
- Must be able to plan trips
- Must be able to manage unforeseen circumstances
- Must be able to safely and efficiently load and unload product
- Must be able to obtain Hazardous Materials endorsement within 90 days
- 21 years of age
- No more than 1 chargeable accident within the last 3 years
- No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 moving violation in the last three years
- Must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screen
- Must successfully complete a DOT physical
- Must successfully complete a background check
- Must successfully complete functionality testing
