Job Summary
Operate Class A tanker trucks, semi trucks, tank trailers, dry vans, pneumatic, intermodal, and flat beds, safely loading and unloading product per company and customer instructions. Plan trips including breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic, and construction conditions while managing unforeseen circumstances. Follow all government, company, and customer policies and regulations, including FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOL standards. Work weekends, nights, and holidays to ensure timely deliveries, with weekly mileage fluctuating. Obtain Haz Mat endorsement within 60 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- 1 year of verifiable driving experience
- 1 year of verifiable OTR or Local experience within the previous 7 years
- Tanker Endorsement
- Haz Mat endorsement
- Must be able to obtain Hazardous Materials endorsement within 90 days
- Class A CDL with Tank Endorsement
- No more than 1 chargeable accident within the last 3 years
- No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years
- No more than 1 moving violation in the last three years
- Must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screen
- Must successfully complete a DOT physical
- Must successfully complete a background check
- Must successfully complete functionality testing
- Must be able to plan trips
- Must be able to manage unforeseen circumstances
- Must be able to safely and efficiently load and unload product
- Must be available for weekends
- Must be available for nights
- Must be available for holidays
- Must follow all government, company & customer policies and regulations
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 21 years of age
- 12 months of verifiable OTR or Local experience within the previous 7 years
