Job Summary
Operate heavy-duty trucks to deliver merchandise to stores and customers while adhering to state and federal statutes. Conduct daily vehicle inspections of oil, water, tires, and equipment to maintain operating condition, then clean and secure the truck and load deliveries in an organized manner. Perform special pickups, including retrieving vehicles from the garage, and ensure sufficient English proficiency for public interaction. Requires a valid state driver's license and DOT medical card, with one year of heavy-duty truck experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- one year of experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van
- Valid State Driver's License
