Job Summary
Deliver merchandise to stores and customers while navigating assigned geographical areas in compliance with state and federal statutes. Perform special pickups, including vehicle retrieval from garages, and conduct daily inspections of oil, water, tires, and equipment to maintain operating conditions. Load store deliveries and sold merchandise onto trucks in an organized manner and clean and secure the vehicle and equipment after each run. Requires a valid State Driver's License and DOT Medical Card, with a high school diploma or GED preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid State Driver's License
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Knowledge of the geographical area assigned
- Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public
- One year of experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
