Job Summary
Truck Coordinator responsible for ensuring the timely, safe, and cost-effective movement of fertilizers from Yara Canada and Yara Belle Plaine warehouses; coordinate activities between Sales, Customer Service, and Operations; manage carrier network (onboarding, relationships, rates, audits, and performance tracking); coordinate truck transportation across multiple warehouses with optimized scheduling and delivery performance; ensure compliance with Canadian and U.S. transportation regulations including customs requirements and audits; support contract execution, shipment planning, and collaboration with Sales and Customer Service to meet customer commitments; oversee reporting, system data (SOMS), and financial processes including netbacks, fuel surcharges, and invoicing accuracy; partner cross-functionally to resolve issues and maintain operational efficiency and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience within Truck Logistics
- College/University Degree is highly desired, but not a requirement
- Strong communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Strong team & support orientation
- Solid customer service skills
- ERP knowledge, preferably SAP
- Microsoft skills, specifically MS Outlook and Excel
