Job Summary
Perform assigned repairs and installations in compliance with manufacturer standards, OEM guidelines, and company specifications. Diagnose and troubleshoot any technical problems while maintaining adequate knowledge of repair and upfitting procedures. Safely move vehicles and equipment throughout the shop and property, properly maintaining tools and following all safety procedures. Install a variety of light and heavy-duty bodies and equipment, including dump bodies, service platforms, cranes, van shelving, ladder racks, and snowplows. Read and comprehend all work and installation instructions to ensure high quality and personal productivity. Work in a shop area with exposure to varying temperatures, standing, kneeling, and bending for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and mechanically inclined
- Able to use standard hand tools and read basic measurements
- Able to read and accurately follow instructions
- Able to test for proper operation
- Able to work in a shop area with exposure to varying temperatures
- Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail Oriented and organization skills
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Monday to Friday schedule
- Day shift
- No nights
- No weekends
- In person work location
