Job Summary
Truck and Transport Apprentice in GFL’s Regina Fleet Maintenance division. Responsibilities include performing routine preventative maintenance and repairs on Hydrovac, Water, Highway Trucks and related equipment; diagnosing mechanical systems; installing or fabricating aftermarket components; maintaining clear, descriptive documentation; and adhering to safety standards. Requires own hand tools, leadership experience, and eligibility for an Apprentice Certificate; tool allowance provided after year two. Valid Class 5 license with preferred 1A/3A licenses; SGI MVIP experience considered an asset; overtime may be required. Benefits include health/dental, RRSP matching, and tool allowance. Location: Emerald Park, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Apprentice Certificate or willing to become an Apprentice
- Experience with SGI Motor Vehicle Inspection Program an asset
- Class 5 Drivers License with a clean drivers abstract required, 1A or 3A Driver’s License preferred
- Strong Mechanical and troubleshooting abilities on a wide range of machinery and equipment
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as needed
