TRS Representative - Deferred Compensation

Job Summary
Correctly log into the Call Center phone system to receive telephone and email inquiries regarding the SSP deferred compensation plan from employers and members. Respond to technical questions about eligibility, enrollment, and deferral processing while accurately documenting calls and initiating requests for additional assistance on complex issues. Assist employers with plan questions and resolve reporting issues by guiding them through the Gemini system or performing outreach for delinquent deferrals. Provide basic training on TRS and SSP policies via verbal and written communications, ensuring timely resolution of participant and employer matters in accordance with statutory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in business administration, public administration, accounting, or a related field
- Three (3) years of related experience in public or multi-employer pension administration, private pension plans, benefits administration, payroll, customer service, or a related field
- Two (2) years of professional experience in a payroll, benefits administration, pension administration, or customer service role
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
